We started our trip at Jarka's home town of Rokytnice in Orlické hory (Eagle Mountains in North East Bohemia). We rented bikes near by and paddled up onto the mountain ridge. The nature was overwhelmingly beautiful and full of summer colors, even though the weather did not feel any summer like. I was amazed by endless number of anti-Nazi bunkers built in 1930s and by the authentic mountain architecture all around. To add to the diversity we visited even an old Jewish graveyard.
